While other professors set standards for perspective students, I give three reasons for students to join my group.

  1. I’m a junior faculty – I still derive math and write codes, so I can help you at both high and detailed levels.

  2. I have academic gene of a nice advisor. I’ve been working with Prof. Thomas Dietterich and David Blei, both of them are super nice advisors. See here and here.

  3. Tufts is a great place for research. It is located in Medford, MA, part of the Boston area. You can enjoy vibrancy and convenience of a big city while keeping a safe and quiet place for yourself.
