Welcome to the Cyrus Cousinsiest corner of the Tufts CS department website!

About me:

Originally from Providence RI, I grew up in Barrington RI, and I came to Boston in 2011 to attend university. I've been crunching numbers for as long as I can remember, and I've been programming computers to do so for me since I was 11. My first programming language was Java, though my tastes have changed quite a bit since.

These days I still enjoy writing code (program optimization is practically a hobby of mine), but I tend to focus more on research. My research interests include computational analysis of music, which I recently explored in my work on HarmLang, text classification, pure machine learning, and computational biology, particularly genomics and anomaly/disease detection/classification. For more information on the anomaly detection research I am currently working on, visit the Tufts BCB page. Please visit the projects section to learn more about my work, and don't hesitate to reach out to me if you anything interests you.
