Michael S. Horn
I'm a researcher in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction and
Education working at Tufts University and Harvard University. I'll be
starting as an assistant professor at Northwestern Unversity this fall
with a joint appointment in the departments of Computer Science and
the Learning Sciences.
Research Interests
My research involves exploring innovative ways to integrate
appropriate and useful technology into K-12 classrooms. In particular,
I'm interested in educational programming languages and the
opportunities created by tangible user interface (TUI) technology. I
work in the Human Computer
Interaction Lab and
the Developmental
Technologies Research Group at Tufts University. My adviser is
Rob Jacob.
