Alva L. Couch - Teaching

Hello, I'm Professor Couch, also known as the somewhat infamous teacher of Data Structures, Multimedia Programming, Programming Languages, System Administration, and Software Engineering. Just ask my students what I put them through.

Project Interests

My teaching, research, and project interests encompass such widely diverse topics as Visualization, Parallel Computing, Parallel Program Debugging and Performance Analysis, Software Systems Development, Configuration Management, Qualitative Research, and Information Science. Students have worked with me on an even more diverse list of projects, including Fractal Geometry, Virtual Reality, X11 and Motif programming, Systems Programming and Analysis, and multiple implementations of interactive games.
